Night tours

A summer highlight in Figeac!

As evening falls, the architecture takes a back seat, the heritage becomes a hidden treasure, and the town transforms into a whole new world to explore – both mysterious and open to all.

Every Wednesday evening, discover the secrets of medieval Figeac on our lantern-lit night-time tour. Immerse yourself in the lives of the town’s bourgeoisie during the reign of Saint Louis as you wander through Figeac’s dimly lit alleyways, where a few surprises await you.

The Land of Art and History

Guided tours

Just a stone’s throw from Figeac, villages, monuments and landscapes reveal the history and treasures of the ‘Pays d’art et d’histoire’.

In the villages, storytelling tours invite you to discover Livernon, Cajarc, Calvignac, Capdenac-Gare, Capdenac-le-Haut, Cardaillac and Reilhac, featuring storytellers and actors.

Finally, explore the villages on heritage walks – free tours lasting around an hour, organised as part of the ‘L’Astrolabe prend le large’ programme.

Setting off on a storytelling tour means blending the past, as it is recounted, with the imagination, as it unfolds. Visitors allow themselves to be swept up in a dual narrative of history and stories, and delve deeper into a place that comes to life… Didier, tour guide
