Crisscrossing our country roads

From the confluence of the two rivers, the beautiful little roads that go up the course of the Lot pass through various villages, each more charming than the last: Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Larnagol, Cajarc, as well as the castles of Cénevières and Larroque-Toirac. On your way, enjoy breathtaking viewpoints overlooking the river, then return to the very pretty Célé Valley. Between cliffs and beaches, this preserved nature does not leave one indifferent. The succession of small villages, including Marcilhac and its 9th century abbey, leads you to the grotto of Pech-Merle, close to your starting point.

Starting from Figeac, medieval village, the small roads take you to the heart of the foothills of the Massif Central. Among the remarkable heritage stopovers, Cardaillac, ranked among Les Plus Beaux Villages de France, then Lacapelle-Marival and its medieval castle. Along the way, contemplate the many landscapespanoramic that lie before you, and stop at the beautiful Lac du Tolerme. The return trip to Figeac has some more magnificent views in store for you, as the roads wind through forests, meadows and streams.
