water-related
Reilhac has a typical rural heritage of the Causse de Gramat, closely linked to the presence of water:
- the Romanesque church at the heart of the village
- the spring, a precious resource in these limestone soils,
- the wash-house, an essential part of daily life in days gone by,
- the lakes and waterholes, built to collect rainwater,
- the small hydraulic works, traces of the ingenuity of the Caussenards,
- the ox-shoeing work, a reminder of the village’s agricultural life.
