Visits

These tours enable you to discover privately-owned sites whose past or present activities are linked to the astonishing careers of prominent figures in the arts or entrepreneurs. Between monuments shaped by the centuries and industrial heritage, these tours combine discovery and storytelling, to approach heritage in its different dimensions. Capdenac-Gare: In the footsteps of Raynal and Roquelaure A new town of the industrial age, Capdenac-Gare boasts an original heritage. On this tour, you’ll discover the historical sites associated with these two entrepreneurs, and the factory they inherited from their passion for cooking. Château de Béduer: In the footsteps of Jeanne Loviton and Lotte Eisner Close to Figeac, Château de Béduer has dominated the Célé valley since the 13th century. During your visit, you’ll be reminded of patron Maurice Fenaille, writer Jeanne Loviton, lover of Paul Valéry, and Lotte Eisner, the German Jewish refugee who, during the Occupation, hid the films of the Cinémathèque Française within the walls of the château.

Going on a storytelling tour means mixing the past with the imaginary. Visitors are drawn into a double tale of history and stories, and plunge deeper into a place that comes to life…, Didier, guide-conférencier
