Pilgrims' transportation

Where do I park? How do I get around and transport my luggage?
Figeac
is an essential stop on the main route of the path to Santiago de Compostela, the Via Podiensis. Many of you contact us to find suitable transportation for you and your luggage, here is all the information you need!

Parking

in Figeac

You are leaving Figeac or you want to retrieve a car when you arrive from your period?

Free parking is available, avenue des Poilus, next to the train station. If you plan to leave your vehicle for more than 7 days, notify the Figeac Municipal Police.

From the parking lot, you can then quickly catch up with the GR® on your way back down to the city center. Take the opportunity to discover the treasures of Figeac and sample some local specialties.

Some hoteliers also agree to keep your vehicle provided you stay at least one night in their establishment.
