Pilgrim transport

Where can I park? How do I get around and transport my luggage?
Figeac is a key stop on the main route to Santiago de Compostela, the Via Podiensis. Many of you contact us to find suitable transport for you and your luggage. Here’s all the information you need!

Parking

in Figeac

Are you leaving from Figeac or would you like to pick up a car on your way back?

If you’re travelling for several days, you can park your car in the Les Carmes car park on avenue des Carmes, just past the MSA. This is a free, unsupervised car park.

If you would like to leave your vehicle for more than 7 days, please contact us, giving your name, the exact location of the vehicle, its make and registration number, your telephone number and the dates of departure and return. Police Municipale : Tel. : 05 65 50 07 69

Please note that it takes 10 minutes to walk from the Carmes car park to the historic centre and 20-25 minutes to the station. You can download a map of Figeac. Some hotels offer a parking service for guests staying at least one night. Consult the list.
