water-related
Reilhac has a typical rural heritage of the Causse de Gramat, closely linked to the presence of water:
- The Romanesque church at the heart of the village
- The spring, a precious resource in these limestone soils,
- The wash-house, an essential part of daily life in days gone by,
- The lakes and waterholes, built to collect rainwater,
- Small hydraulic works, evidence of the ingenuity of the Caussenards,
- The work of shoeing oxen, a reminder of the village’s agricultural life.
