Fi'jazz

From 14 to 17 May, Fi’Jazz gets Figeac swinging! Now in its 5th year, the festival invites you to take a musical journey through concerts, jam sessions, cinema, entertainment and social events. From swing to mixed sounds, from New Orleans jazz to contemporary creations, Fi’Jazz will be making the town resound, as well as taking up residence in the exceptional setting of the Château de Béduer.

Africajarc

The emblematic festival of African cultures takes place from 23 to 26 July ! The festival invites you on a warm and festive journey through concerts, cinema, literature, exhibitions, events, courses and meetings. The Grand Marché completes this immersion with crafts, creations, fabrics, jewellery, books and African flavours.

Africajarc is all about music, culture, sharing and conviviality, in the heart of summer in the Lot Valley.

The Rencontres Musicales de Figeac

From 6 to 20 August, the Festival Les Rencontres Musicales will be rocking the Grand Figeac region. Classical music in exceptional venues, including churches, châteaux and remarkable heritage sites. Concerts, courses and masterclasses punctuate this musical fortnight, supported by passionate artists and teachers.

Comics in the air

On the last weekend in September, Cajarc becomes the place to be for comic book fans. With guest authors and illustrators, book signings, exhibitions, talks, children’s workshops and a comic bookshop, the La BD prend l’air festival invites young and old alike to share a time of encounters and discoveries.

Cultural life all year round

Throughout the year, a wide range of cultural events are organised to bring the region to life: L’Astrolabe Grand-Figeac for live shows and cinema, L’Orange Fluo for artistic creation and live shows, CinéLot with its travelling cinema, Visages de Ségala for local heritage, and DECLAM’ for cultural and participatory events.
