The Grand-Figeac Tourist Office assists local professionals and project developers, including those wishing to set up in the area, in developing and promoting their activities.

and Qualifications

Do you want to enhance the quality of your offer and boost visitor confidence? We can provide you with information and guidance on how to apply for tourism labels, brands and qualifications, in conjunction with regional and national schemes such as Destination d’Excellence. Depending on your activity, there are several possible approaches:

    • Destination d’Excellence
      A national label that recognises the quality of reception, services and the commitment of professionals to progress.
    • Tourisme & Handicap
      A government label guaranteeing a welcome adapted to people with disabilities (motor, visual, hearing or mental).
    • Accueil Vélo
      A national label awarded to establishments offering services adapted to cycle tourists in the vicinity of cycle routes.
    • Clef Verte
      An international label for accommodation and restaurants committed to an environmentally-friendly approach.
    • Rando Étape
      A Lot-wide initiative to promote accommodation suitable for walkers, offering services dedicated to touring customers (welcome, facilities, information).
    • Specific labels and classifications
      Classified accommodation, bed and breakfast, furnished tourist accommodation… these are all ways of structuring your offer and better meeting customer expectations.These procedures help to structure your practices, enhance your commitment and raise your profile with customers.

As part of its mission to support local players, the Grand Figeac Tourist Office regularly organises professional events to inform, equip and develop the skills of service providers.

Recent conferences

    • Understanding the Le Meur law
      An information session dedicated to the regulations in force, to help professionals better understand their obligations and secure their practices.
    • Artificial intelligence at the service of tourism
      A workshop to discover the practical uses of AI in the tourism sector: content creation, customer relations, time saving… with practical examples that can be put to use straight away.
    • Improving your visibility and developing your business
      A conference led by a tourism webmarketing expert, with operational advice on strengthening your online presence, attracting more customers and structuring your digital strategy.

How can you take part? Priority for these events is given to professionals registered in our database. To receive invitations, all you have to do is register with the Tourist Office and update your details in the SIT (Tourist Information System). The materials, tools and documents shared at these meetings are available on request from the Tourist Office.

Grand Figeac, in partnership with the Lot and Aveyron départements, is working to promote its assets and raise awareness of the area among a wide range of people: residents, future residents, project developers and visitors.
