La Maison Marot

Discover Maison Marot, an exceptionally well-preserved 18thᵉ century farmhouse, a true testament to the traditional way of life of the inhabitants of Haut-Ségala. A winner of the Bern Mission in 2019 and a listed Historic Monument, it opens its doors to you for an authentic, friendly and enriching cultural experience. A true place of memory and exchange, it invites you to immerse yourself in rural history, ancient skills and local traditions.

Bessonies Castle

Close to the Monts du Cantal, the Château de Bessonies and its museum dedicated to Marshal Ney invite you on a journey to the heart of Napoleonic history and heritage. The château preserves the memory of this man, nicknamed Napoleon’s Brave of the Brave, who was arrested here in 1815. You will discover the museum, library, salons and period furniture, all carefully preserved.
