Your first stop is the village ofEspagnac Sainte-Eulalie, where you can discover an ancient priory dating back to the 12th century, so idyllic that it became known as “Val Paradis”. Then take advantage of the small beach below to cool off in midsummer. A little further on, stop time and immerse yourself in the history of the fortified Benedictine Abbey of Marcilhac-sur-Célé. The ruins bear witness to the prestigious past of this early medieval edifice. Market days are the perfect time to enjoy local produce and the friendly atmosphere of our destination!

The Célé

136 km – From its source in the Massif Central at Calvinet, at an altitude of 713 m, the Célé flows into the Lot at Bouziès, near Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, after meandering for 136 km.

84 km – The Célé’s navigable course represents 84 km of descent, from an altitude of 230 m to 125 m at the confluence with the Lot. All you have to do is choose the water sport you like: canoeing, kayaking, boating, swimming…
