Make a first stop at the village ofEspagnac Sainte-Eulalie where you can discover the ancient priory founded in the XIIᵉ century, a place so enchanting that it was nicknamed “Val Paradis”. Then take advantage of the small beach below to cool off in high summer.

A little further on, immerse yourself in the history of the ancient fortified Benedictine abbey of Marcilhac-sur-Célé. The ruins bear witness to the prestigious past of this early medieval building. On Tuesdays, when the market is open, you’ll love the local produce and the friendly atmosphere!

For the more energetic, take a family hike to Brengues or Sauliac-sur-Célé, where you can explore the cliffs and discover curious semi-troglodytic buildings. The Célé

From its source in the Massif Central at Calvinet, at an altitude of 713 m, the Célé flows into the Lot at Bouziès, near Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, after meandering for136 km. The navigable course of the Célé represents 84 km of descent, from an altitude of 230 m to 125 m at the confluence with the Lot.

All you have to do is choose the water sport you like: canoeing, kayaking, boating, swimming…
