A haven of peace in the heart of the Ségala forests, Lac du Tolerme is the perfect place to recharge your batteries. Water sports, hiking, cycling, picnics and swimming with family or friends: you’ll love this relaxing break by the water, in a lush natural setting.

Relaxation at Tolerme

In summer, when it’s hot, you can cool off in the lake. Swimming is supervised, and you can read in the shade of the trees on your towel. Children will love the sandy beach and play area! Tables and barbecues are available for picnics with family and friends. And if you’ve forgotten your sandwich, there’s a snack bar and restaurant on site!

Sport for all

The Tolerme water sports centre offers a host of fun and sporting activities to keep you entertained all day long, including pedalos, canoes, kayaks, paddles, an aquapark and an introduction torowing during the summer! There’s eventree climbing for the little ones!

As for fishing, the lake is classified as category 2. Trout are released throughout the year, but carp, roach, tench, perch and pike are also present, and there are fishing workshops for children on Wednesdays.

For a unique experience, take a zip-line over the lake: 455 metres round trip for guaranteed thrills!

The stream

This stream rises at an altitude of 650 metres in Labastide-du-Haut-Mont, the highest point in the Lot, some ten kilometres to the east! The streams of the Ségala are home to a whole ecosystem that’s worth preserving. In this low mountain region, the waters are in constant effervescence, cascading vigorously between granite boulders and wooded valleys.

Moving around the lake

ON FOOT

Simply stretch your legs and walk around the lake, or opt for a more challenging 9km circuit. In either case, enjoy the gentle atmosphere and recharge your batteries in the heart of Ségala.

BY BIKE

If you’re a keen cyclist, there’s a 15km circuit that will take you through the foothills of the Massif Central. If you’re more experienced, you’ll be rewarded with a relaxing ride around the lake. And if you’ve forgotten your bike, you can hire one on site!
