Data Protection Policy.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679) and the modified Law of January 6, 1978 on information technology, files and freedoms (known as the “Loi Informatique et Libertés”), you have the right to information concerning the use of your data. The Tourist Office of Grand Figeac – Vallée du Lot et du Célé attaches the greatest importance to the respect of the regulations on the protection of personal data.

Use of your data

Personal information collected on the site is mainly used for the management of the website administered by the Tourist Office of Grand Figeac – Lot and Célé Valley.

The personal data collected on the contact form are the following:

  • Last name, first name
  • Postal address, email and phone number
  • Information on the stay (period, with children), centers of interest and preferred accommodation

The personal data collected from users are intended for the proper functioning, in a secure environment, of the platform.

The uses are as follows:

  • Access and use of the Platform by the user;
  • Producing content;
  • Managing any disputes with users;
  • Sending commercial and advertising information, based on the user’s preferences;
  • Producing anonymous statistics of audience and use of online services.

This processing is based on Article 6(1)e of the RGPD, relating to the performance of a mission of public interest.
The recipients of the data are only the agents of the Tourist Office of Grand Figeac – Lot and Célé Valley, within the framework of their attributions, as well as the staff of the service companies, for this sole purpose.

The service providers with access to the data are:

  • Tourist Development Agency of the Lot and Dordogne Occitanie
  • The tourist offices of the Lot
  • The Regional Committee of Tourism and Leisure – Site of Toulouse

Concerning the contents, they are intended for all users of the site. The data collected is not transferred outside the European Union, nor is it used for automated decision-making. Only the publications are likely to be accessible outside the European Union, because of their presence on the Internet. Furthermore, the processing is subject to a policy of minimizing data collection. If you do not provide all of the data indicated as mandatory by an asterisk, your request cannot be processed. The retention of data relating to requests may not exceed the time necessary to process it as well as the legal time limits for legal recourse.

The data retrieved via the contact forms arrive on our GRC Tourinsoft tool managed by Faire Savoir in conjunction with the ADT Lot Tourisme.

The access of our subcontractors to your data is done on the basis of their commitment to be respectful of the rules stemming from the RGPD and on the basis of signed contracts mentioning the obligations incumbent on them in terms of data security and confidentiality protection.
We store your personal data in the European Union. In all cases, we ensure that the processing is carried out in accordance with this privacy policy and that it is framed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses that ensure an adequate level of protection for the privacy and fundamental rights of individuals.
